Pi Iota Distributes $34,000 to Scholarship Recipients at 2nd Annual G.V. Stewart Luncheon

On Saturday May 13th, 2023 Pi Iota Chapter and the Pi Iota Education Foundation held our annual G. V. Stewart Scholarship Luncheon.

Named after chapter founder and long time Hillsborough County Educator Garland V. Stewart, the event awards outstanding students in our community, scholarship money and book stipends. Our aim is to support student access to college.

The Chapter and the Foundation have served the Hillsborough County Community for over 75 years and we work diligently to form partnerships with groups and business in order to get donations for all of our scholarship activities.

Our hope is that the recipients of these awards will have the opportunity to affect positive change in our society thru their continued pursuit for higher education and community involvement.
